Anyone who uses a laptop for more than an hour a day without a laptop stand is asking for trouble - or you better have a chiropractor in the family. Now schools are issuing laptop computers to students but rarely if ever giving them a laptop stand. Chiropractors are going to be busy for years to come - anyone want to buy shares???

Notebooks are generally more expensive than desktop models; however, they have decreased significantly in the past few years in cost. Many students and home users can easily afford a decent laptop. Careful review of brands and models should be done also, as a more costly model may indeed be one of the more dependable and longer lasting; this equals money well spent.
